I know that a lot of us have grown their hair back from time to time. So, what did you think? What was your experience?
For me, I originally started to shave my head when I noticed more and more hair in the drain after taking a shower. But I have grown my hair back a few times. Initially it was out of pressure. But other times it was more for curiosity or laziness. I just shaved my head today for the first time after having a skin cancer removed. I grew it back as I was wanting to have the area of surgery, which was outside but near the hairline, to have a chance to heal.
So I will have to say that it was interesting to have hair again, even if it was was only for a little less than two weeks. The last time I grew it back, it was clear that I have a very obvious pattern of baldness. The pattern is a fuzzy Norwood 5-6. But there is even less hair than before. So it confirms my decision once more to shave my head. But while I do prefer my self as a sly man, it was kind of interesting to grow it back. I may do it again in November for a month prior to my stepmom's 96th birthday!
Have let it grow back from time to time. cold weather or laziness wins out. But sooner or later the urge to shave comes back. Presently been shaving for the last month or so, as of now I'm staying this way.
The lazy bug bites me from time to time, too. I usually shave three times a week on average depending on my work schedule. I shaved today for the first time since September 12th tonight (had to clipper it down first), Seems like the crown is going faster and faster.
Sometimes I get lazy and let it go for three days. I recently let it go for four days (because of a couple bad cuts when I lost my shaving mojo) and my wife was begging me to shave it. I looked like a damn hobo.
I may skip a day or two out of laziness, but that's it. My scalp is healthier clean shaven!
Right now I'm shaving almost every day with maybe a day or two in between from time to time. I've let mine grow out a few times since I first went sly in 2005. Laziness just gets the best of me from time to time. This last time I was thinking of letting it really grow long and then I saw a guy with my Norwood pattern (3V) with a ponytail and just thought, "Oh HELL no."
What? It didn't look awesome?! Lol
