So it's been two weeks since I shaved. The first week was weird. I liked the look, but I was still not used to seeing myself that way. Now, I'm starting to not give a damn. When I get compliments, i think that's sweet. When someone tells me I should grow my hair back, I pretty much ignore them. Most of the shock is gone. People are getting used to this new look. Every day that goes by, I like it more and more. I notice I get slightly more attention from the ladies... I guess the way my hair was before, I wasn't winning any contests. And when you see a young bald person, you can't help but give them slightly more attention... I guess because it makes me stand out. Which is only a good thing, since I was so ordinary and plain I felt like a ghost.

Keep it up. After 19 months, I'm still liking it better each day, so your feeling about the bald head are normal. Enjoy it.

Wow! What a great change that made for you.
If your posts did not identify you as being the same man in all three pictures, I would not think the first one was you.
You look good, sir.

None of you guys remember me probably, but here is me recently.

Being bald doesn't even phase me anymore. Someone says something about it, I don't give a flying f**k.

Let me add to the chorus. The scraped dome really suits you. In your recent picture, you look as if you have some stubble. An earlier photo shows you (at least as caught by the camera) as completely slick. This is the best look for you.

Well, I have gotten a bit lazier with the shaving... only doing it about once a week now. I actually prefer both looks. Which one did you like better? Sorry, I had trouble telling from your post. Thanks for the kind words everyone.

You look totally comfortable, as you should. Quite a change from less than a year ago. You should feel a lot of pride in having overcome the stranglehold that hair had on you. Now, get on with it and enjoy life.

Rajah,
I have recently gone sly permanently and I'm to the point like you where being bald doesn't even phase me. It's become a part of my new identity as well as my beard and I feel comfortable. As for you, let me just put in my two cents and say you made an excellent decision shaving all of your thinning hair off. Between your most recent pic and pics when you first went sly, I concur with Earl by saying your best look is when you shave it down to the skin.
