I was looking to see how many positive images of bald men there were on the net -
woefully few I am afraid - virtually 99% of sites that talk about mpb talk about it in the negative - possibly because 99% of sites that talk about it are trying to sell you a "remedy" for it!
I went to one or two sites that were just depressing - full of guys despairing over their rapidly receding hair lines & ready to try just about anything in the pursuit of their dream of a full head of hair & I just found the whole thing totally depressing - However on one of them I found a link to this site & it was like a breath of fresh hair (sorry ... air).
I lurked here for a while & really liked everyone's attitude. I was interested in hearing about other gay men's experiences with hair loss so I decided to nervously join & ask a question about it ... a lot of guys replied but not a single gay guy but hey ... but that time I was hooked & decided to hang around anyways. I really do think this site is great with a lot of great people on it & Tyler .... we all owe you a big debt of gratitude for setting it up.
Thanks Tyler ... you're d' man!

ShySlyGuy, you're very welcome! It's for that very reason that I started Sly Bald Guys. To help people find a positive way to deal with hair loss. The best part was I get to meet all of you which continually affirms my belief that this world is full of good people.

Thanks again Mr. T and I agree with you. There are a lot of great people out there. They just never get talked about enough. I guess it's not as "exciting" as drama if you know what I mean.

Shaving my head was inevitable, letting go of the "system" was a question of when...one day I just did it, and was searching the web for sites that would help me with shaving questions and product reviews.
Thankfully I found this site and met some great brothers that I can relate with...great job again Tyler, this is the only site I check in on a regular basis

I read an article about headblade 3 or 4 years ago, always wanted to try it, but I forgot the name and didn't see it at any retailers up until recently. We(pilot Trvel centers) have a monthly mag called "challenge". there was an ad for HB's website. from there I went to thier myspace and found a link to here. I'm still pretty new here, but proud to be a sly member.
Good work Tyler!!!
