Ok guys, believe it or not I am now shaving my head twice a day! I've been pretty much a fitness fanatic my whole life as I work out twice a day. Well my routine now is to workout, shower and shave my head and my face. I don't know what it is but I've become obsessed with this "Sly" look. It's like I look in the mirror and I finally like what I see. I had a full head of white/silver hair which I was complimented on all the time. But it was a real pain keeping it styled and barbered just to look nice. When I got sick and it started to fall out I started to panic and get depressed. Then I took a pretty big plunge and I got it cut short. The look was ok but after reading in the forum about the "Sly" look I decided to go for it. I never in my wildest dreams would have thought that I would ever shave my head. Even when I was in the Marines I never shaved it!
Now that my head is shaved and the color is starting to come in its starting to look even better.
Anybody else shaving twice a day? Oh one other thing, I am now only using a twin blade disposable razor. I have more control with it and I get a much better shave

I'm in the same boat.. It's got to be sly..
I shave in the morning before work. if I go out for a beer or something I will shave it again..
But I don't want to get my dome irrated so.. usual day is once in the morning.

triumphcorvair, You've def got the SLY obsession. I thought that I was bad because I can't stand to even skip a day on the weekends. I don't think I'll ever do twice a day, that's alot of work. Besides, I figure my scalp needs at least a 24 hour rest.
Glad to hear that you're enjoying it. I, like you, only a couple of months ago would never have dreamed that I would be shaved and lovin it. -

It's a funny thing. Pre-SLY, I would have no problem skipping shaving my face for a couple of days. Now whenever I shower, I always shave the face & dome. Being slick is a very good thing.

In 6 weeks of being Sly I have done the evening shave quite a few times.

triumphcorvair.... glad 2 know that u r luving the sly look by doing it twice a day. i don't shave twice a day (2 much work, my scalp needs at least a day's rest) but i usually get my dome shaved once a day. sometimes.... it's once every 2 days but NEVER more than 2 days... i feel like i'm sporting the "fabio" hair if i let my dome go unshaven 4 more than 2 days. i'm like u and the rest of the sly brahs.... gotta keep it sly!!!

Sounds like you are SLY FOR LIFE there, triumph. Once you get the feeling of that slick smooth dome it is impossible to deal with even a little stumble. When I first started could go that occassional day off, now can't leave the house without being slick and sly. Like schro said. its a very good thing.

I feel gross and dirty if I let it go 2 days. Once I let it go 3 and I felt like I hadn't showered that day. -

if i dont shave everyday its almost like waking up and going out in public without combing your hair.......i think its cuz we know we look our best when we are neatly and freshly groomed

It is addicting isn't it. I usually shave once a day myself. I can't stand when the stubble starts coming in.

I also will shave twice if I am going out or something.... I like it as smooth as can be... though if I do skip a day, when I do it the next day, it ends up even smoother

I shave once a day, but I love it so much I may start doing it twice (once in the morning, and once when I get home at the end of the day)
I'm only a couple of weeks with the Sly look, and already when I feel the fuzz, I want to take it off.
I find the HeadBlade is the best shaver out there (and use the HeadLube with it). I find my shaves are very close. Using conventional razors didn't "cut" it very well.
So in the end, I too am obsessed with my dome like you are. It's great, isn't it?

I shave at least every morning sometimes in evening if im going out. cant put my uniform on and go to work if my head isnt slick as a greased bowling ball
