Okey so, hey guys how you all been ?
I just came across of this site since a thought is going trough my mind recently, so i've been informing myself lately.
I'm 23 years old and i'm losing hair not fast but in "decent" enough pace.
Thing is, i'm not sure cause of the head shape since it's quite specific. I've read the comments and topics about people never regreting about shaving it off afterwards, but i couldn't come across that someone has 1-2 bumps on the forhead( i fel when i was a kid and hit my head into a closet..and the lady which was taking care of me in the kindergarden didn't put ice on it so the swelling never went off, ill post a picture of everything so you can judge should i do it or not )
I've been thinking to try it out atleast since I'm gonna lose hair eventually in few years so might aswell try it now and if its good keep "rocking" it. I've been cutting my hair more or less the same way past 20 years that's why there's a fear of unknown !

So could i pull it off ? Should i go with a buzz cut ?
Thanks guys in advance !
P.S. Sorry if didn't make sense some sentences in this post, after all english is my second language, I'm just a guy from Croatia !

and the bump on the forhead is in upper left corner

simple answer, yes.
many guys have lumps/bumps. they always look bigger to ourselves than anyone else. then they find out it's a non-issue when they shave their head.
just bite the bullet and shave your head. remember the 30 day rule.
you look good. you'll look better with a shiny bald head. go for it.

Welcome mate,
Go for it man. Everyone worries about there head shape initially.
Worst case scenario, it will grow back

Let us know how you go!

I would buzz it and then shave later. You will like it.

G'Day Dule mate

Welcome to the Bastion Of Baldness.
Don't worry about head shape, the only person who really notices it....is you. Most people wouldn't give it a second look.
Why don't you try a buzz cut for a while, see how that goes and if you feel good with it....try the Sly look.
If you don't like the sly look then no worries, just grow your hair back. Simple!!!

I don't think you need worry about the lump on your head.
And as for your hairloss, from the pictures you provided it seems like you're not losing it super, super fast. Perhaps another picture would show it better, but I'd wait on shaving if your hair is still good. However, if your hair loss is causing you worry or distracting from your life, then that's a reason to shave.

I think you can totally rock a shaved head. The bumps add character

Why not try buzzing first to get used to having your head "exposed", then go for bald later?
Either way I think you'll be happy with the result.
I do not notice any hairloss in your pics, btw. But if you want to shave, it's an itch that won't go away

First of all thanks for support and for all these nice comments !

I arranged with my barber to get an haircut/shave tommorow in the morning since for the first time i think it should be done by a proffesional, later on if i'm gonna like i'll do it myself.
Thing is i'm aware i'm not losing it super fast, but it buggs me still + i'm getting more or less same haircut these past few years and i'm just curious how would it look, did i do mistake cause i didn't do it sooner

.
Anyways decision day is tommorow and ill let you all know how it went ! You got really nice community here, thanks again

Again sorry for any possible grammar mistakes

! Have a nice evening !

I agree with Bennett11,
Clip it first, then if you like it shave it off. I mean your gotta clip it anyway before you shave it. Your not gonna take a razor to a full head of hair. Try a 2 guard all over and see what you think. Be ready though, if your thinning as much as you think and you clip it off you probably will notice it more the higher the clipper guard you use. Then as you shave with the razor it will go back to being less noticeable.
Just do it, and don't worry about the lump, that shouldn't factor into your decision.

Ey !

I did it ! I mean i didnt go full shave off, but i got it like to 2mm or something, not sure. Barber explained difference between short and longer haircut style's, thing is that longer hair after some while sticks together and so you get an impression your losing hair, but in fact when u short it down like i did today its absolutely normal. That's why i was so surprised to see that my situation aint so bad. I'd post sooner but i was out showing my head to friends.
I got some compliments how i look more edgy now, tough, like a marine or something ^^, really enjoying it and looking forward to summer. My plans are to go even shorter for summer, gonna do it with razor without guard, like i do for my beard,it wont be complete but enough, to test it out for myself and you all guys were right , its awesome !

And also ill post of it when it will be done !
This aint so good pic but ill post better one when ill find some time !
REALLY BIG thanks for kind words and moral support

i wish you all the best
