My advice would be to just go for it. I went from a short haircut to buzzing to a number one then got the nerve to,shave it. No turning back once you do,it you will love it. Keep checking in with us here for support.

Going to buzz tomorrow after work. Depending on how blindingly white it looks, I might leave it like that while I go fishing over the long weekend to get some sun. I'll post pics after the deed.

After waiting one more day I went with a #1.
I'm not sure why the picture is so bad but you get the idea.
Even though its a little long and unruly you can see how thin it is.
Wow.

I'm going to stay like this for a bit while we all get used to the look. Bottom line for me is that I like it and it was fun taking off all the hair.

Your looking good brother ! Tell us about that shaving kit , and damm you want to share that fish ! With some butter , onion's, over a campfire or on a spit were good to go . Damm bet ya ! Aren't ya glad you got that stuff off your noggen ! Sweet , thank for sharing.

Nice results. Lot of guys around here sport that haircut. It's just a small step from there to bald, and a nice step, i might add.
I did that about a year ago and I love the results. Bald is satisfying and bold.

Thanks everyone.
It's been fun so far. My head got a little red after the day on the boat but that's to be expected. I plan on going closer this weekend.
