Like the title says, I was wondering if anyone here is currently using the 6 blade razors for their ATX. I am currently using the 4 blade and like it, but I am very curious about the 6 blade razors. How do they compare?

I currently have an ATX in transit. Here on the east coast of the USA I haven't seen an ATX or their blades anywhere.

It's the same here in Texas bro. No ATX to be found. Mine should be delivered sometime today with 4 and 6 blade cartridges though.

I actually won an ATX in the drawing here on the Forum. Tyler sent me a PM a week or so back to ask for my address.

So I got mine yesterday afternoon and gave the 6 blade a try right away, and the 4 blade this morning, when I got up. As for smoothness, it did a really good job. I have no complaints there, with either set of blades. The handling was extremely awkward though. My Sport was awkward at first too, but after a few shaves with it, I think I'm more or less hooked and don't really want to change. I'll give the ATX another couple tries, but IMO the Sport is a lot better.

G'Day Kevin mate,
I have been using the 6 Blade Cartridge with my ATX since I got my it, I personally find them great, gives me a super smooth as Baby's bum shave, actually smoother than a baby's bum

Extra added bonus not a single nick (touch wood lol)
I give it a 10/10 on my smoothomatic counter!!

Ok thanks for the feed back guys I appreciate it. I am going to have to order blade refills in a week from HeadBlade and I was wondering if I should order the 4 or try the 6. Being that the 6 blade gives you that smooth of a shave OzSly, I think that I may have to try them. Anyone else that has experience with the 6 blade please chime in. I would love to hear your experiences with it.

Well I have shaved a couple times with the new 6 blade cartridge for my ATX and all I have to say is that I absolutely love it. The 4 blade was decent but I felt that it gave me a somewhat patchy shave unless I used more pressure then I wanted too. With the 6 blade this is not the case. I can use just a slight amount of pressure to the blade and it gives me a super smooth shave with less passes then any other blade I have used.
Thanks for the feedback on it OzSly. I decided to get them based off of your experience with it. The HB6 has made the ATX my favorite razor.

I like the HB6, the HB4 is still excellent but the 6 gets a smoother shave in my experience. Clarinetguy, all HB cartridges are designed to work with any Headblade handle (granted you have to use the appropriate adapter).

I'm debating whether to pick up an ATX. Headblade seems to be the iPhone of head shaving razors, they keep upgrading.
It looks really cool, though. That's a good enough reason to buy it, right?

IMO HB is the best tool for the job, not only is it efficient it's economic. These days I look for the best way to shave and save money.
