Before the last debate for the 2012 elections coming up tonight, I was wondering why the United States has never had a completely bald president?
What do you guys think about this?
In th early years they wore wigs or pulled their hair on their balding heads into a pony tail. In later years they combed it back over the balding spots, as was the style. Now..... the Office of Presidency just hasn't caught up to the times.
Wasn't Eisenhower bald? (at least partially?)
Wasn't Eisenhower bald? (at least partially?)
Horseshoe ..... very thin.
The easy answer is,
THE SCHRO HAS NOT RUN .... YET.
you're joking right?
No marty, I'm not joking.
I am talking about the fact that we still still haven't had a president who is
Completely sly bald. Yes, we have had presidents with receding hairlines, comb-overs, thinning hair, but never a president who has taken the decision of shaving it all off.
I had this discussion with some of my friends today, and one of them said that he thinks it might be the fact that bald men look more Authoritarian and that might be a reason for people not to elect them on primaries, election day, or even for electoral vote. I did Not agree with him on this, but it was interesting listening to his opinion.
