Hey there.
Officially, the cold weather is upon Romania

And this sucks.
We've had a warm autumn as far, but it seems it's gone.
Temberatures dropped below 10 degrees Celsius, so I had to put the beanie on my dome....

Unfortunately is the one I've got, so I'll just wear this one.
I wanted to order a SBG beanie or a Headblade hat or so, but, by the time it will be shipped, the winter will be gone...
Here's how a beanie suits me ( I wear it inside out )

A shame to hide the dome, but you must do what's necessary.
This will be my first winter Sly ... will just have to wait and see how it goes. I've never been a hat/cap/beanie guy ... will this year be different? Time will tell.

well, it is not that hard. I got over last winter preety easy, and it was damn frosty!
The head will not feel the cold, the ears and nose will ( at least, in my case. )
It is for the best to cover it, though.

It all depends how long i'm outside whether I wear a beanie or not. Paul why would it take so long for HB to ship to you? I live in northeast WI so it can get below zero here on a regular basis. When I go to a Green Bay Packer game a beanie is a must.

as I know, it takes weeks or even more than a month to ship from US to Eastern Europe ( Romania ). Plus the shipping would double the price of the beanie.l

In NYC, I always tend to wear the wrap around ear covers. It looks better on me than the beanie. I look like I'm about to rob a 7-11 if I wear a beanie for whatever reason!
Depending on the severity of the cold weather, I sometimes even wear a face protector out there if my walk happens to be longer than expected. (which I hate, but it's gotta be done!)
I'll take a pic in the coming days/months with the wrap around ear muffs/covers. I think they're far more fashionable than the beanie.

This here southern man has learned from traveling to 40* N 'n' S that ya gotta save room in your duffel bag for a scarf, long handles and a beanie...and you can put that in a mason jar and bury it.

It has been beanie time here since mid-September when it started getting down below freezing. I have a camo Carhartt 2-in-1 beanie http://www.carhartt.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10101&productId=74110&storeId=10051&langId=-1 that I wear daily because the air is so cold and my nose feels it first
Other than that, I have a headblade beanie and a nice handmade angora/cashmere scarf
Thank you ! This is well known in the Dakota's, Montana, ah heck all over great company and good products. Years ago in South Dakota we used to have Blizzards that last week and longer. Now days Snow's one day , gone the next. But one always has to be prepared .

I've already had to don my beanies a few times recently, since the weather has cooled off. I enjoy wearing them. They keep me really warm (makes a huge difference on very cold days), and I happen to like the way they look on me. Bring on the season!

Perhaps I should get a beanie, too. I'm approaching my first winter bald and bearded. Add another B for beanie !

For some reason beanies just don't do it for me, never have. I've been wearing cowboy hats for 30 years. Working outside for years it keeps the rain off both my head and my glasses. Working with my hands an umbrella just dosen't cut it for me.

Yes Falcon, I have a old Stetson I love , but also bought a band for around my ears sure does help. I have been known to pull a scarf down over the Stetson and cover the hat and my ears. When the snow flys and the wind is ah blowen out on the flats or in the mountains it gets cold. That is where the men are men
