@SlyFive
"Your calves burn like hot coals because they are tight and probably out of condition."
Mark, that is exactly it, but even when I first began jogging, it was never this painful.
I went to a running shoppe and had them check out my step and they decided I needed the shoes I have now. Brooks Beasts due to pronation or something like that. It's been awhile.
So I guess I'll just keep up with the slow going until things get back into order.
@NPSBG I loved those ugly ole Earth Shoes!!
I spend alot of time barefoot and need to strengthen my leg again after years of surgery so the little bit of extra support from the vibrams should be good combined with the increased surface perception. Because I have been walking wrong due to the surgery for so long, I am having to re-learn correct proprioception.
Five fingers do not provide support.
I love my five fingers, takes getting used to but very comfortable. Don't run in mine much, but do ride a mt. Bike in them.
