I made an introduction post about 3 months ago. I've been buzzing my hair for about a year now. I always wear a hat, but I've been leaning away from it so I've been able to go out in public with no hat (which feels good) but I haven't been able to go to work without a hat...
Today was the day. I shaved with razor (with the grain for now so I do have a dark shadow) and I'll be honest, it feels damn good. I like the dull bald head so I may find some makeup or something to take away the sheen.
I am always trying to find something new with my beard/mustache. Ideas? Chin Strap beard?
Obligatory picture. Sorry for the quality. Camera isn't that great:

Welcome to sly, and thanks for posting the picture before we asked!
I always like the 'full' beard.
Your bald head looks good. Forget the hat (unless you need a sun shade). Show your bald head proudly.
30 day rule, apply it generously.

Hi SDogg: Welcome 2 the sly fraternity. You look like a natural. As far as ideas.... whatever you do just DO NOT put any makeup on the chrome dome. If you want to reduce the shine... try some Headblade Matte Lotion like Bobster suggested or even apply some baby powder if you really want to reduce the shine.
IMO... shine is great. Nothing like a super, shiny, chrome dome. Do what you want but since you asked about ideas... I say stay away from the makeup.

Welcome and best compliments!!! You look GREAT!!

Go for the chin strap, it will suits you well in my opinion, and if you don't like it you can always go back to clean shaven.

Thanks! I've never dealt with the shine of a bald head before so I had no idea something like Matte Lotion existed. Time to read up on this forum since I am forever Sly.

Gotta agree ... you are a natural. Don't hide it with a hat.

Welcome! The look suits you well. As for matte versus shine, the shine comes naturally because of skin oils. Don't try to cover it with makeup because that will look odd.

I used to hide under a hat all the time. Now, I will wear a hat mayyyyyyyyybe once every 4-5 months, and that is pushing it.
Lose the hats, and embrace the baldness.
And welcome!
