Who else has forgotten to "ease up" a little the first shave after putting on a new blade?

More times than I like to admit. The first indication that I've done that is usually hearing myself mutter "OW!! S**T!!"

Somehow, when I nick myself, I always manage to do it on a nerve ending so I get both the pain AND scarlet fever!

The other week with a fresh blade I drove my HB head on into the side of my head and put a gash the full length of the razor on the side of my head... by did that sting! I kinda knew I did a bad thing there... but I will normally just know the heads of pimples off just just little nicks. That was the first major damage... and it was actually because I was trying something a bit different.... I guess there is always a cost to experimentation... lol

This was a SH5 and I swear I didn't feel a thing really until I rubbed the back to check for misses.
I don't know if that is a good or bad thing tho'.
Next time I could partially lobotomize myself and not know I did until I tried to count to POTATO.

Hardly ever with the HB. But in the intervening weeks since my sport broke, almost every time. Got my ATX yesterday and I'm expecting great things
