Nice Yamaha!!
Back in my younger days I was an all Yamaha guy. They were great bikes back then.
Strictly Harleys for me since 1994.

Around 1982 I had a nice new Yamaha 750 Virago... quite a nice bike at that time.
I took my Dad (an ex-motorcyclist and a Suzuki guy) to a motorycle show in Baltimore City.
Just before we left the show I came across the Harley display and their bikes. I said to my Dad, " I've got to sit on what to see what the big deal is."
A soon as I sat on it I just let an an audible "Whoa!".
My Dad just looked at me and I told him right at that moment that I would own one someday. It was like my soul was meant to have one and when I sat on it,i t felt like "home".
I bought my first in late 1993.

Bobster... I own a 2011 Ultra Limited. It's a touring bike built for the long haul.
Those photos of Roy's are 1) Harley Forty Eight 2) Harley V-Rod
Roy..... test ride those before you buy... especially the Forty Eight. It's an awesome looking bike but everything I've read says the comfort level is zero. It's basically a "bar jumper".
Now the V-Rod... very nice and very fast BUT you will only get about 100 miles between fill ups.

Just sold my V-Rod last April. Mine was a 2003 Anniv. Edition. Hated to sell it, but age and big influx of boozoos in cages convinced me. Nearly had two wrecks in less than two weeks, only a few blocks from my house. Idiots around here don't look for cyclists. My v got up to 150 miles per tank. Wish I lived in a less populated area. I really miss the bike but I'm sure I wouldn't miss a hospital stay!
