I didn't really get a huge reaction from anyone because I've been cutting my hair with clippers without a guard for years. I've went sly in the past but had a lot of red bumps on the back of my head so I let my hair "grow" back out. I've recently lost 52 lbs (18 more to go to get to my 200lb goal) and all sorts of things have went away and cleared up, including my folliculitis so now I'm loving the sly look and feel. I'm going bald anyway so I just tell everyone "I'm embracing my baldness".
