If you're into ELP you should try Nektar's album journey to the centre of the eye, listen to it from beginning to end, it certainly is a journey, that album is life changing. -

Here is what think I know about Emerson Lake and Palmer (old memory
)-they use to make a great music like and then they realised that they need something more "radio friendly"(new wave swept them ) so after longer conversation they even had a honest fist fight (no joking) that's how a group "Asia" was born -Asia was still great but not ELP great
