23 and receding, should I shave it off?

Hi I'm 23 and receding quite badly and my hair is getting thinner at the front. I have had my hair at a no.1 before and I am currently debating whether or not to shave it off again. I was wondering if people think it suits me or not?
Thanks
The first picture is currently how my hair is, the following few are a couple of years ago. (The only pictures I could find)

Welcome, Bluesman! Looking at some of your pics, you have a developing widow's peak there (thinning at the temples). If you feel that a buzz is not good enough, give the sly a try for 30 days! If you don't like it, you can always grow it back, BTW the facial hair would give your shaved head a nice touch. Good Luck!

In a word ... YES.
Welcome.
The older shots of the short buzz, show that you've got a good looking head. And your current photo really shows the thinning hair. Shaving bald, would be a good choice.
Be sure to read the 30 day rule. I look forward to seeing you with a shaved head, and hearing your story. You'll like it.

Thank you, I was never to sure it it looked well on me so that's a plus! I'm not confident shaving bald would look so great on me to be honest, although once I have gotten used to the no.1 again you never know! thanks again.

Hi there and Welcome Bluesman
I echo what Sir Harry and Mr Zed have said.
Give it a try, if the idea is tickling your curiosity, get it out of your system...I believe every man should at least try it once in their lives. This is maybe your time. I can guarantee you, there is a very good chance you may enjoy it...

I see you're only one step away from the shave. You tried the buzz cut and looks good.
Try shaving, it can only be better.

Honestly, I think you look better with short hair anyways. Take it down to a 1 or a 0 guard and see how you like it. I think you'll love the look.
Then, if you want, take it all off with a razor. Post pictures. You're a natural.

Let me add that you have a good smile that will compliment the shaved head.

Before I saw Mr Z's latest post I was going to say the same - you've got a great smile which really carries the look. From the older photos it looks like you were quite comfortable with the buzz cut as well.
If you were my blood brother, I'd encourage you to shave all the way to have that experience. You know you already look good with the buzz. And if by chance you don't care for the shaved look (which I really doubt) it'll just take a couple of weeks to get back to a #0 or #1 length.
Being 23 I think you deserve to have some excitement.

Short hair definitely suits you better. Those temples are only going to get balder, trust me. And when the dreaded bozo ring starts...
