Hi Brian: No. . . I have not given up on the Feather SS. I'm going to just take a temporary leave of absence from it.

Some great pics of late gents!
Wish I could participate more, but my shaves have become rather hurried in the mornings with the baby taking so much of our time, so i've not had time to write up on here or take photos!
Keep them coming though, I love reading about them.

Without the classy posed photo, just my gear on top of the washing machine....
Razor: Kai Captain standard
Blade: Kai mild (shave 2)
Mike's soap. I hadn't used it in a long time, and the centre of the soap looks darker, like it's gone bad or something, but it smelled ok and worked ok. My wife said 大丈夫だよよ、which means "it's fine," but then she hates wasting things!
Anyway, a great 2 pass shave. Couple of nicks on my chin, one each side.
Dessert was witch hazel followed by Lucido with 444 balm.

SOTD Wednesday morning 10/16/13
Pre Shave: Bee Bald Clean (in shower)
Brush: Unknown
Razor: Edwin Jagger
Blade: Wilkinson
Soap/Lather: Razor Rock Chumba Cheech+Shave Secret+5 drops of tea tree oil
Aftershave: Razor Rock Alum Block+Osage Rub+Ice Cube
Notes:
1. Used the same lather to shave the underneath portion of the beard, but left the chin area of the beard untouched
2. Most of the items (except the Osage Rub, Shave Secret and Tea Tree oil) came in the shaving kit I won in Mike's raffle
3. The EJ is a bit more agressive than the Lord DE razor that I got from Warhawk, (I cut myself slightly on the dead center of my crown of all places!) A couple of other small nicks here and there, but not too severe for a first time use
4. Used the Lord for the touch-ups behind the ears.
5.The Alum block helped stop the bleeding almost instantly.
6. Razor Rock Soaps have an awesome smell! I may have to invest in some more just to see what the other (flavors) are!
That's all I have for now....Have a good HUMMMMMPDAAAAAY folks!

Quick one today -
Razor is a Boker, not sure of size or grind.
Musgo cream.
Semogue brush.
Day 4 with this razor, consecutive days. Getting better each time. Only my neck really gives me trouble when trying to find the best angle...

Razor: Cobra Classic
Blade: Feather
Soap: Mystic Water Sandalwood Rose
Brush: Semogue 610
Dessert: Ice cube rub, refrigerated WH, refrigerated Osage Rub
I had another super, smooth shave with the Cobra Classic. Mystic Water Soap continues to be a great performing soap that gives great lather, glide, and protection. The Sandalwood Rose scent is intoxicating. You can not go wrong with Mystic Water Soap.
