A few weeks ago I was in Las Vegas staying at the Bellagio Hotel. My wife was getting her nails done (hey...its better than her losing my money at the tables!), and I went in to the salon to meet her. I noticed on there menu of services that they offer men's shaves. When I asked about them, the attendant offered to show me the "private" barber room they do them in. When she escorted me in...what did I see? Matte For Men Lotion and Shave gel on the barber's tray. Apparently they use products by Art of Shaving on a regular basis but were trying my favorite brand! I asked the barber what she thought of them and she said she recommends Matte For Men ! I then told her they are the only products I use now.
Has anyone seen Matte For Men anywhere else? I wonder if I can by stock!

be careful when wearing with white shirts....it is kinda yellow and when mixed with sweat will run down on your collar.....also someone else reported that he went to a club with black lights and it made his head look "blue"...it also left a film on my head...needless to say i'm not impressed with it...its a great idea and works as intended for a lotion and spf but i think it has a few drawbacks.

I wear it everyday, except for this month because I'm testing another product, but I've never had any issues with it staining my white collared shirts. I have yet to test out the black light experience with it.

Guys-
any product that has an spf will do that! My wife had the same issue with her make-up when we went dancing one night...she asked her derm and he said that SPF products are meant to react to light/sun/etc...it shows its working!
Thought that was an interesting fact about spf's
I havent had the problem with the sweat issue either.

I would have thought that a glowing blue head in a discotheque would be a good thing.

I can't say that I'm going to use a product on purpose that will make my head glow...

Think some of us are confusing Matte for Men products with HeadBlade's HeadLube Matte.

Nobody...or at least almost no body...wants a glowing head...but if my choice is to walk around using an effective sunscreen and trying to avoid skin cancer or avoiding fun houses and disco's...Ill take the protection everytime.
(there is one other choice...we could carry a parasol...well...maybe there isnt another choice after all:))

I use L'Oreal Comfort Max After Shave Balm with SPF 15. Reasonably priced, goes on well, and smells nice.
I have no need to try Matte for Men. Don't want to glow.
If I need a little more coverage, I use Copertone Sport Spray Sunscreen SPF 30.
