Holy $h!t!!!!! That guy was an animal. He hit like a truck and ran like a leopard and was a hunter of men. This is godawful news. He was truly one of the greats.
Man, I posted the above before I read the article. The thought that it was suicide makes this 100 times worse. I just have no words.

Yes Sir... The guy was a BEAST on the grid iron! Way too young for this to happen.

Very sad, goes to show you never know what demons one has inside. Pro Bowl and Super Bowler, very successful after NFL as well. Thoughts go out to his family and friends, teammates.

The fact that it was probably suicide makes it a bit easier to digest for me, and while very tragic and devastating u have to think that the person was obviously very upset with his/her life to commit suicide and felt they would be better off gone. Suicide is someone's own decision rather than someone else taking another's life.
I still get upset whenever I think of former MVP quarterback steve McNair because someone else decided to take his life.
r.i.p. Junior seau and steve McNair....two of the best to ever do it.

Prayers go out to his family...especially his young kids....Lesson learned:Happiness is found within oneself not with money, fame or possessions....One lasting image for me will be when he collapsed on the field when Plax scored the winning touchdown in SB XLII four year ago...

An absolute beast of a player.................I'm sure the concussion topic will come up as it seems so many of the ''older'' players suffer from head injuries and depression. What a shame to die at this young age,and from suicide. God speed.
