does anyone notice more irritation if you shave your head before working out or running? or is this a dumb question??
Also, about the HeadShed, should this be used daily? I shave daily and use it everytime I shave, does anyone recommend using it less? my girlfriend thinks it may contribute to irritation as well and suggests only 2-3X a week...
thanks for any help

If iI want a super slick dome right before I work out, it usually gets a bit blotchy and red or irritated 1/2 way through the workout as I build up the sweat factor...
usually I'm ok if the shave is about 2 hours old.

Yes. I assume it's because the skin is still a bit sensitive and hasn't had enough time to recover, making it more easily irritated by perspiration.

I workout at night, so it's several hours after shaving. This could be why I don't get irritation.

I always like to try to "represent" all proper like for the cause of SLY... so sometimes I like to show off the gleamin' dome in it's perfect state...fresh after the scraping!
I consider it a small sacrifice for the sly movement

I feel guilty if I get to the gym and see all those gleaming domes and mine isn't in peak condition. Plus, I really hate the feel of the stubble, when I wipe the sweat from my head.
Speaking of which -- it's time to head to the gym.

I hear ya...but you never know when you got to get your SLY on...
if you can help it, you must ALWAYS be prepared, my bald brother!
Whatever that means, I don't know (it's time to go home, it's been a long day...)

I was hoping this was a Ferris Bueller thread.

Anyway you should always try to shave after your workout becase your pours open up during shaving, espically if you your hot water. Open pours are more susceptible to getting irritants in them.
I like sounding important!

I would agree with Noner. Besides showering to get myself cleaned off, I like the fact that showering makes my skin warm up & makes the shave much smoother & more effective.
