It's remarkable how different I feel already. It's like a rather large weight has been lifted. My shower took 5 minutes as opposed to 20. Took 5 minutes to get dressed as opposed to 30 (drying and styling hair).
Reactions from flatmates has been relatively positive. The obvious shock, but apparently it suits me.
It's pretty freezing here so wore a wooly hat to a lecture and haven't quite plucked up the courage to walk outside without a hat on.

It's cold out so why shouldn't you wear a hat outside? By the time it warms up weather-wise, you'll have gained confidence and wanting to show off that shiny dome in the great out of doors! Congratulations on your new-found freedom.
