Gentleman:
On 1/14/2011 I plan on being done with HCM. I have been coming to this web-site for about a year, getting advice and confidence. I am finally at peace with my decision. Its all planned out. I took a couple of vacation days to get acclimated to the new look and do some tanning.
To say the least I am excited about my decision and look at it as the day I will be free! Against the advice of many here, I will have it removed at HCM at approximately 8:00amest. I know many feel this is a mistake, but my mind is made up and since they are experts at taking it off, I decided to let them do it, just to avoid any complications. And to my surprise they agreed to shave my head for me. Not saying its going to be a comfortable situation, but I feel I am strong enough to handle it.
So thank you to everyone here. I know the change will be shocking, but its time.
I will post a picture ASAP.........

You're on your way. There aren't any mistakes as far as I'm concerned when you're coming to grips with self-acceptance, different approaches, yes. But no mistakes. If I have a qualm about this at all it's that although I've never dealt with HCM, I strongly suspect that they will continue trying to control you as they have since they first sold you on the idea of hiding under a rug. Provided that you reject any such attempts should they attempt to do so, if it works for you, the 24/7 guy, then it doesn't matter what anyone else, including the members at SBG, may prefer. See you on the Sly Side soon--and we guarantee that you will feel free and at the end of 30 days will be one happy bald guy.

Be Careful they dont fill you with fear uncertainty and doubt after the shave by telling you look much better with their unit on your shaved head. It sounds suspicious to me.

I wish you the best.
When you go in, make sure your shields are up, because they will use your "last visit" as one last desperate attempt to keep you (and your money) under their control.

Great decision to get rid of HCM, but I really think you should do it yourself. They want you back in there so they can work on you, try to keep you in their mode of thinking. If you can find it in yourself to just buzz it down or take it off, whatever it takes (I'm not familiar with how they stay on), give yourself the gift of freedom for the new year. It really makes a difference and I guarantee you'll feel better than ever!

I also think it sounds a little fishy. I would advise you to just forget about them and just do it yourself today. It is the simplest procedure in the world and the reward is unbelievable. Start the new year off the right way by casting off your chains and welcome the SBG club.

I agree with Tom. I wouldn't go anywhere near them. Just take the razor to your head and feel a new person emerge - the real you.

I never had HCM but why would you want to walk back into the lions den? It can't be all that hard to remove the piece and then you can just shave it down yourself. I would trust what most are saying and do it now!!!
