Hammy...thanks for posting a picture of your damage!  Your head looks pretty much like mine...though I think I have more of the red spots!  I too am using the HeadBlade (Sport).  I would really like to master this and so am very reluctant to switch to something else.  I need to do some research to try to find out how much the skin toughens up as it gets used to being shaved.  I'd like to know if I switch to something else while the skin adjusts and then go back to the HeadBlade after that happens...will it be then result in less damage?

I love the headblade and all the head blade products but I wouldn't start with them. but after a few months of shaving give them a try!! I wont use anything else

Starting with the HeadBlade is a huge mistake in my opinion. I know it has a lot of fans, but I'm not one. I'd suggest a good old Mach 3 or something else that's a little less tricky to use.

I am with you all the way on that one.

I am still not totally confidant with HEADBLADE
