HeadSlick "Spouts"

I would just like to take this moment to thank HeadBlade for bringing back the original like "spouts" on the HeadSlick.
For nearly 5 years I have been faithful to this awesome brand, but thought it was cool (at first) when the pump came out only to get clogged. Then it seemed the normal head was back, but with some sort of filtering dispensing point.
Sure, the traditional way there is a risk of more coming out, but I'd rather deal with that as I control how hard I squeeze rather than the clogs I have been enduring the last year or so.
Seriously, I appreciate the old spout/dispenser being back and sincerely appreciate it HeadBlade!

I agree. I was lucky enough to have a some empty headslick bottles laying around that I grabbed the caps off of. I tried using my pocket knife to destroy the filter thing but it was just a pain.

I'll second that. The "improved" spouts weren't much of an improvement. I've got a few of the pumps and they work well for what it's worth.

That's when I would just take it off and pour it out as is.

Ok. I'm new to head slick. Do I have the old style or the new style? I have nothing to compare with. The top of the bottle has a pull to open, push to close collar. Does that help identify which style I have?

I have the pull open/push closed too and I hate it. With wet hands in the shower it's extremely difficult to open and it clogs easily. I'm pretty picky about things so I thought maybe I was just being too critical but it is a terrible design. Hopefully I can find the pump because I've started to like head slick.

The old style had one large whole. The newer one has four smaller holes that clog easily IMO.

I have the pull/push and yes it's difficult when hands are wet...it's another reason to change to Bald Guyz Gel.

Yep. I'm glad the "large hole" is back.

I'm sure a surplus of guys are saying the same thing about my ex.

Mine seems to have a single hole, so guess that although it is a brand new bottle, it has the old style. Seems like that's good from your-alls comments.

I think they've recently dropped the tops with the four small holes. Back in the spring, HeadShed and HeadSlick had those caps. In my most recent purchase a couple of weeks ago, both had the large single hole which is much, much better.

The bottle I found on sale has the "old style," I hadn't even thought to look until this thread. I'm going to move the nozzle to the bottle in use. The four holes have been nothing but aggravation.

With you on that...I'm going to keep this last cap "just in case" a clog prone device surfaces again.
