Welcome. I wasn't as far along as you and decided it was time to shave it off so my suggestion is to go for it.
I didn't think your skull looked strange, I thought the black squiggles over your eyes looked strange
but I see it cleared up in the latest picture. I think you'll be happier if you go for the end game instead of worrying what you'll look like.

As a matter of fact, nobody has a perfect round head. But in most cases the minor flaws don't affect the look. I don't mind the small lumps I have. The sensation of being smooth is better than anything.
