Hey!
I was wondering.
When I asked the barber (where I shaved my head for the very first time) if it's normal to shave my head every day after, he said "Yes, but not sooner".
So, I LOVE the smooth feeling, but after like 20 hours, it goes away

. Is ok for me to shave my head every day?
Like, how often you shave your head?

I shave my head and brows every morning.

Based on experience I could not shave everyday because my scalp gets irritated but some guys go as much as shaving twice a day. It depends on how tough your scalp is. Trial and error, decide which works best for you. Happy shaving, by the way, welcome to the world of smoothness.

Thanks.
I shave it today just because I need some experience for monday, so monday won't be my first time.
all the week-end I'll be at home, so I'll be ok

If you shave every day, you'll become very good at it and your scalp will become used to being shaved, so it will not be irritated. You'll also notice that after a period of daily shaving, you'll get very close shaves and become accustomed to the smooth, slick feel.

Time is usually against me in the morning, but most days I somehow manage to shave it . Feel really clean after shaving and applying a refreshing after shave lotion. My scalp and skin can definetely handle a daily shave

As you get your routine down...you will answer your own question with your own shaving habits.

I shave mine every morning. Occasionally, I may miss a day and I think that's okay. It gives the skin a rest.

When I first started, it was every other day because my scalp was too irritated to do it every day. Now, it's the other way around. Shaving every day helps keep the irritation from flaring.
I also use a nylon mesh "scrubbie" to get rid of dead skin before I shave. Head Shed by Headblade works pretty well too, but I'm cheap.
I also shave in the shower. Helps keep the scalp and shaving creme moist and there's almost no cleanup than having to rinse my head.
After shave I use Nivea Shaving Balm on my head and face. During the day, when my head gets too oily, I use Wet Ones Sensitive Skin (in most baby aisles). Much less expensive than the individually wrapped wipes you can get through Bald Guyz or Headblade.

Each one is different, some shave twice a day and I know one guy that shaves once a week. You'll find your own way.

Thanks for all the advices.
I've just shaved it for the 3rd time, second on my own.
I'm getting used to it, I'll do it everyday for like a week, so the skin will get used to it.
It's not as smooth as the day before, I didn't applied that much pressure on the blade, I felt some burns in the past.
I'll get through it, I just love shaving it, and I feel like I'll be really good at it, since I never cut myself seriously ( only 2 or 3 small tiny scratches).
Again, thanks for the advices!

For the first week be gentle and don't try to get your head super smooth. Just work on getting used to shaving and let your scalp adjust to being shaved. You'll get the hang of it and soon you'll be a pro with a smooth dome. The feeling is great!

I've did something like that. I hadn'd shaved it like in a harsh way, I was "gentle" with it, It's just the routine, for the skin to get used to it

You will get the feel for the razor and the shape of your head, too. In a few weeks, you will be able to shave completely by feel - you will not need a mirror. Your skin will probably adjust pretty quickly too. Good luck and welcome!
