For those who are comtemplating hair transplant surgery, here's a photo of what your head will look like directly after the surgery.

Exactly! There are many, many reasons not to do this, not the least of which is putting yourself through such unnecessary pain and scarring.

Truly nasty! Thanks for sharing those; that should give anyone pause about going that route. It kind of reminds me of the pictures back in 1st grade -- healthy lung vs. a smoker's lung (no offense to those who smoke). I still enjoy seeing old movies where people are puffing away, and there are no antismoking zealots there to cry foul.

Damn, that's rough. It would make me think twice if I was tossing the idea up.

I don't understand the urge to get this procedure done, especially multiple times.

Why on earth would you honestly bother? Looks a right mess,i would be more self concious with that on my head than going bald

Well look at any "good" transplants it just looks like your hair is thinning anyways because the hairs are so spaced. I looked around different forums in about september time when I was thinking of it as a possibility in the future and every transplant looks rubbish even when its done by one of the top surgeons and apparently is the "very good"

And the photos probably look better than the real thing.

Here's another example of why hair transplants are not a good idea. This guy was badly scarred from a botched transplant so he went to another surgeon to get it "fixed". These are the before and after photos. Admittedly, the "after" is preferable to the scarred scalp, but does anyone really want to look like this? The poor guy looks like a human Q-tip. Should have shaved his head from the get-go and saved himself a lot of pain, humiliation and money.

Yikes again. Man, these companies should be banned. All they do is prey on insecure people. We can only hope that as our shaved band of brothers continues to grow that their numbers will shrink. Power to the (shaved) people!

Damn there is no way I could ever do that to my dome. One time a long time ago I contacted one of the trasplant people for the free info. Needless to say I wasn't impressed and now I have found my hair style LOL.
The best part of being sly is that if you want o change styles buy a new set of shades hehe.
take it easy guys.

Yeah, the drug and transplant companies really anger me

because they have so many false claims attached to their products. That is one of the many reasons I started this site was to show others that there is a natural alternative - shaving.

I never considered going the transplant and/or Rogaine route. I can't imagine talking to people knowing that I have had some medical procedure that allowed me to from Uncle Fester to Cousin It overnight. These photos coupled with the new found feeling of confidence in my appearance is better than any procedure I could have used.
