Hey guys,
I've just turned 22 and have a rapidly receeding hairline...thanks dad! lol Anyways heres a couple pictures. Being quite a small guy from my eyeline my hair doesn't actually look too bad but for anyone over 5ft 7 it kinda does :/ So ive just bought myself a nice set of clippers and am thinking of just shaving all over nice and short probably a 2 or a 1. What would you guys recommend? Thanks

hey ally, i think a really tight buzz (#1 or no guard) would look great! you have a great shaped head for short hair OR sly

It's time, try it in shorter lengths until you're comfortable--that may be at a #2, #1 or whatever, even sly. Remember it will grow out too. Balding isn't fun, but ultimately Bald ain't a bad thing at all--you'll do well.

It may seem counter-intuitive, but the less hair one has, the shorter it needs to be kept to look good. Otherwise, it just looks like a cover-up, and that never, ever, looks good.
Do what I did and go for the buzz. It worked for me.
And then when you're ready, you might try shaving it completely.

As the others have said, clipping it real close would likely look good. Once you're comfortable with that, maybe even try shaving it clean. Losing your hair when you're young is stressful, but it's really liberating when you finally realize having a full head of hair is pretty low on the list of priorities in life!

Definitely agree with the others, and especially with slybear who said that the cover up is the worst look of all. If you're not ready to go all in, do what others have said and try a 2 to start. You'll have plenty of support here! -

take control of your own slyness and stop letting those loose hairs ruin your life. it is far better to let them go then to have them run away.
i also agree with what has been said i just wanted to put my own funniness to it. which i am sure my SBG fellows would agree to. -

Again guys cheers for all the great advice! I took it down to a 2 all round today...ish my clipper skills need some fine tuning but overall...wow! I feel so much better, probably a bit cliche on here but i really thought it would be different to everyone else and i would feel rubbish. Really chuffed and probably going to give it a few weeks then trim it down to a 1.
