Best razor for your FACE?

Dudes, since I started shaving the dome, I've used HeadBlade with the Atra cartridge. I love the double blade and have been nothing but pleased with the smooth results. However, I also switched to Atra for my face so I would only have to buy one type of replacement cartridge (previously a Sensor user). Well, as happy as I am with the Atra on the dome, I'm that unhappy with the face.
So, my SLY Bruthas, what would you recommend as a new razor for my face? First off, I'm not interested in a battery operated razor (Fusion?). That just seems to freaky to me.
Thanks,
Schro

They have a "regular" Fusion that is not battery powered, which I LOVE for both the head and face

I got a Fusion freebie in the mail a while back. I used and liked it, except for the fact that the head is so bulky due to the 4 blades. I use a cheap disposable for going around the edges of my goatee because the Mach III and the Fusion are just too cumbersome for that kind of detailed work.
Ultimately, I stopped using the Fusion when the blade that came with it wore out. I still have it, but the blades cost more than I'm willing to spend.

That's been my big concern with the newer styles...cost and size. With the # of blades, it's like you're shaving you face with a 2 by 4.

Excellent use of hyperbole...but
WRONGnahhh...I do occasionally use a smaller, cheap disposable for detail work of the goat....but for the sweeping areas, it's awesome...and Schro....you don't sport the goat.

I use the regular Fusion on my face. Seems to work pretty well.

The regular Fusion is the way to go.

Honestly, it really doesn't matter for my face. I don't know why, but whatever I use tends to give me the same shave. I've gone with the Fusion only because I like the blade on the end to clean up my goatee and around my ears.

I don't know bro? I've been using my HB with generic atras for the dome and face. I just flip the blade around and do the face while I leave my product on the head to sit for a bit. It has done okay for me. What is it about the atras on the face you don't like?

I have a Fusion power and a generic Mach III. I use them both on my head as well as my face. I prefer the MIII, but switch up between the two for something different. I found the CVS brand mIII for $5.00 with 5 replacement blades. For that price you can use it as a disposable if you wanted to. That was my first thought. If I don't like it, I'll just throw it away when I've used all the blades. I'd say give that one a try...

I would say the Fusion without a doubt.

I had been using the Fusion, but i keep getting redness on my neck & ingrown hairs (plus the cartridges cost £££) Anyway i changed to some cheap 2 blade disposable ones & it has cleared up no end for me.

Are you going with or against when you shave your neck? I've noticed that if I go with the grain on my neck I get less, to no, irritation at all.
