For me anyway, before going sly it felt like I spent a lifetime worrying in front of the mirror. One of the best things about being sly is accepting yourself for who you are, even the imperfections. Be happy with your look, and stop worrying about what others may think.

My ears stick out big time, was teased at school for it none stop now im older no one says much and now im sly its way more prominent so i still get the odd comment now and then but being 210 lbs, covered in tattoos and shaved head people usually back off when i give them the look lol
If anyone says anything i usually just say 'come on now we dont want to get personal about looks do we because you'll lose'. They usually ask what i mean and get all paranoid, either just ignore them or flip it back onto them

It goes with the ball game - - -people do not care - - -we are all in the same boat and we all look great - - - -and you will get to like your ears better and better keep looking at your slick melon and and give it a nice rub - - - - -

Smart move, really smart

. My ears really stuck out as a child, but that has all worked out.
How's the family adjusting to the sly you?

When I was a kid, my ears did, indeed, stick out, although not as bad as those of the classic comic icon, "The Yellow Kid," but either my head swelled (probably the case, since I took over running the Universe [visible]), or the ears got tired of flapping in the breeze and settled back a bit. Even if yours do stick out, to hell with worrying about them, I say. There's always duct tape for use in formal situations.
It's the rare guy who's satisfied with every aspect of his bod (witness those "enlargement" ads), but we should deal with those things we can do something about (take a shower every day) and let the ones we can't alone. No matter how hard you believe, the hair fairy is not going to vanish away your MPB, but technology has given us efficient razors.
And, frankly, there is a small benefit to ears that angle out: you hear a little better than flat-to-the-head guys do. If you don't believe this, cup your hands behind your ears and listen to something and then take the hands away. See?

Since I went sly myself I'm noticing all the other sly guys in the streets and wherever.
I like it best when I am able to catch the silhouette of the sly head with the ears sticking out.

Like the SBG logo head.

I don't think they stick out. It may just be shifting your attention from your hair to now your ears. One benefit - easier to shave behind your ears! Now if I could just figure out how to shave in my ears - lol.

@saintc:my hair is longer now, just a bit longer than a buzz without any clip on it. but when i did shave it my family dident really react badly, they kinda laughed at how diffrent i looked but no bad comments . most of the men from my family in the U.S. are horseshoe ring bald,i thought it was gonna skip me when i was little but it caught me. two of my older cousins shave their heads because of mpb and one of my younger uncles wears a toupee. my moms family in syria, i have only 2 bald uncles and only one with a horseshoe and my grandpa has a full head and so does my other uncle.
i like learning about the whole genetic thing , i have alot of younger cousins and their mothers fathers have a full head of hair but their dads(my uncles) have a horseshoe . i would like to see how early they start if they ever start lol.

I heard about one guy who didn't have 2 ears that stuck out.....Vincent Van Gogh. I'm in the same boat with regard to ears sticking out until I slip with the trimmer on the M5. After that I guess I'll learn how to paint.
