Hello, everyone!
I've been browsing your forum for quite some time. I suppose I'll fill you in on my story.
I'm a teacher and in september had a human-hair hair sytem attached and now do weekly maintenance. It's a pain not being able to buzz my head as I did prior. My problem is everyone at school has seen my with hair. If I shave to the scalp (which is my plan) a hairline won't be seen. My question is, should I wait until December which was my plan, or get rid of it now? Transitioning over Christmas may be easier.

Yeah, do it now so you're not stressing about it over the holidays. Once the holidays come, you'll be worry free...at least as it concerns your hair.
