Hey guys the subject says it all. Has anyone else had to deal with negative comments? I have been shaving it down with no guard for a couple of months. At first she said liked me betterwith hair but didn't make a big deal about it which is fine shes entitled to her opinion. The last two weeks though she's brought it up three or four times and has gotten insulting. I think next times she brings it up I'll tell her to lose 20 pounds then I'll grow it back.

Agreeing with these guys. I was constantly told by an ex a few months ago how bald is ugly and how I look SO much better with hair. Being only 18 I didn't want to tell her that it was because I was going bald, I just told her I liked the look. Its not exactly the perfect things to tell someone already struggling with issues from being bald. I'll tell you this since not being around her and being her positive people who either tell me I look good or don't act like being bald is a big issue, ive gotten to like being sly. Negative comments definetly stick with us longer than the positive ones... so whats the point of being with someone that doesnt like you for who you are?

Does she ask your permission before she gets a new hairstyle at the salon?

Sounds to me like it's already over and the two of you just can't figure out how to tell one another. She's being insulting, you're thinking of ways to insult her in return. Not good.
You don't have to have a knock down, drag out, drama filled fight to end a relationship.

I agree with what has been said, just let her go, don't get all riled up about it and you be the big guy, leave without insulting her, it will make you feel better. There are plenty of other women out there that you can go with, and if you do get another gf, you will get her with a good attitude and not the feeling that you are with the her because you had to. Be proud of your bald look, you have the confidence, There are plenty of women who love the look. Good luck.

Thanks guys I know it's time to break it off I was just wondering if anyone else has been through this. The weight remark was my attempt at a bad joke. Thus far I have taken the high road. Slyway or the highway

My wife won't let me grow hair anymore. She more or less requires me to keep my head shaven bald. My wife will nag me to shave my head. I guess she really like how it looks on me, plus she always rubs my bald head.

rcg that is awesome. Mr ambassador I told her I like her longer she does look better then pics I have seen short. That being said if it is getting thin and looks like straw by all means cut it. If she did cut it I might say I like it better long but wouldn't keep putting her down about it. Her reasoning is since I am not completley bald(think Bruce willis in the 80's) I should keep it. In my opinion not a good look. Anyway whatever happened to supporting your partner. Thanks guys

Tell her to lose 20 pounds.
Say adios!, keep your head shaved the way you like, and find a new girlfriend.

now unlike these guys i would suggest if you love her. then tell her up front that you will continue to do what you like until you no longer like it.
If you no longer love her then after you tell her the above add if you don't like the new me you dont have to. either she can move out or you will.

Negativity is the worst thing you can have in any relationship. Either lay your foot down, or move onto another woman.
