• Your hair looks fine to me.  Looks like you've still got at least a few years before shaving will be necessary, but MPB progresses at different rates for everyone.  My hair thinned and receded in what seemed like one quick year, though it was probably more like two or three.
  
  But hey, maybe you should just go ahead and buzz it down and shave it.  You may really like it!  I can think of maybe one or two cases on this website where it didn't suit someone; everyone else loves it!

• Not sure if you mean its far back, as in its a receding hairline or if its just a naturally high hairline. If its receding then you might wanna consider shaving it. However it doesnt look like its to the point where itd be noticeble by anyone not bald. I'm 18 and shave my head and its quite good to get away from mpb.

• Don't overthink it. Just go for it, then you'll see if you like it or not. You'll be surprised, that's for sure!

• No real need now, IMO, but you could buzz it tight or shave just to satisfy yourself about what you'd look like--it'll grow back quick.  That would alleviate any latent concerns you might have should you get to a point you're uncomfortable with the receding hairline, assuming it continues, and decide it's time to go sly.  Right now, you're BCC, if you want. Good place to be.

• Dude, I have not had hair like that for 30 years....I cannot speak for the guys on here, but I will speak what I feel..If most of the guys had your hair, they would be growing it and showing it.....Looks nice and pretty full.  It appears you have a choice---grow it out or go SLY....most guys on here do not have that choice, but some do.  Grow it and have fun---Shave it and be SLY and have fun....When it is time to go SLY, you will know it.  When your hair is as thick as yours, I just wonder why you are worrying??  SLY will not solve all the problems in the world, just the important ones!!  If I could grow my hair back, I would not---I like the SLY---physically and mentally.

• It looks fine. If you want support for going sly, you've got it. You'll probably like it.
  If you are asking if you need to do anything with it right now, I'd say not.

• buzzed down to a zero, i think im going to stick to around a 1 tho, i tried a 2 but the picture doesnt show the thinning out on top so i think i would be content with a 1 or zero just so theres some color

• Hey man, My hair line was a little farther back than yours, I was pretty self conscious about it which is why I decided to shave it. The first month was pretty rough and I wasn't sure if it looked good or not, but now I love it and my self confidence is through the roof. If you feel uncomfortable with the way you hair looks give it a try it will grow back if you dont like it. In all reality there are a lot of people out there whose hair lines are a lot worse off that  yours and your hair line isn't that bad.

• I shaved my head for a long time just for cleanliness. There was a lot of dust on my lob. Anyways, I got a realy good response from most people, particularly girls.
  if your losing a little hair slowly then dont shave it. if your losing alot fast then cut it short. then maybe shave it if that doesnt look ok.    or try the M.Gardson's method in extreme cases ...it helped me

• You look alright right now, but you might want to give the dome a test drive.  Why not?  It will grow back if you don't like it, and it looks like you have some time left with hair.

• You look just fine, my friend. I've always had a high hairline, so I know your concern firsthand, but your hair doesn't look bad at all. If you don't want to go too short, leave it be. Nothing wrong with it.
  However, if you're feeling adventurous sometime, go for a clean shave. Who knows? You may like it.

• clean shaven for the last month, no bad comments (although most of my family is in ny, and im in southern illinois, so they dont know) i like it, actually starts to get annoying when i let it go too long in between shaves (every other day to avoid irritation)
