Anyone know why there is no stock anywhere on the M5. Went to Personna's website and they are outta stock. My local Wally World is out. Various online retailers are out. I wonder if they are canceling it?

I think that persona was bought out by Energizer Corporation.. On some of the new packages of persona blades such as the atra knock offs they are the same catridges but the brand is now "Wilkonson Sword". There are also some "new" blades called the tech 3 but it is actually the "extreme 3" from schick, I noticed that at Walmart last week.

I too have had trouble finding the M5 blades. I inquired at my Wallyworld and was told that they (m5) are no longer being sold by them. DISCONTINUED. I also contacted Personna and was told of several chain stores that carry them. No luck with that in my area. I did notice that on the Personna website a place to order over the web. "Alice.com" So I order about six packs from them. There is no Shipping charges and are only $.10 higher in price than Wallyworld. Got them in about 3 days by UPS.

Well, that would figure. Seems like everytime there's actually a good and not overly pricey product on the market, it gets discontinued or they sell the company off and the new company ruins everything.
Another recent example of this is the "Aussie" line of shampoo- it was recently bought by Proctor&Gamble- my wife is really sulking over this, as they totally changed and ruined the formula, which she used to love.
Another example is McEwans Scotch Ale - that stuff was awesome.. and is now no more.

And I just bought the CVS branded version of it last night... hmmm, maybe I shouldn't even use it so I don't know what I'm missing! I wonder if they will continue production on store-branded versions of it, but not likely (and if they do, the price will definitely go up).

I'm hoping this doesn't signal the end of the Personna Twin Plus, which I believe was changed from the Auto Plus. I use these on my HB and my Atra stick razor, and they were the best deal on doubles I knew of.
I will have to check Walmart to see if they still have them. If not I'll try your suggestion Don.
