Spring Break
« on: March 22, 2007, 07:40:33 PM »
It's just 16 hours and 35 minutes until my high school begins Spring Break (but who's counting?)  I just got off the phone with my best friend who was also my college roommate.  We were reminiscing about the Spring Break trip of our Senior year when we took a first time trip to New Orleans/Galveston.  We talked about the laydees we met, a particularly crazy night at Molly's on the Market, a hidden bar discovered that served 10 cent, ice cold Bud  parties on the beach and spring memories. If've had many vacations since then but that one always stays in my mind, maybe because it would be the last one before working for a living.   I couldn't help but wonder what other memorable spring break trips or vacations you Sly brothers may have made?

Hope your spring break gets here as fast as it can for you bro.   O0  I always have loved going to The Outer Banks in North Carolina.  I know that doesn't sound too exciting but I don't really like "too exciting" if that makes sense to ya'll out there.  I've been going there ever since I was born at least once a year.  When I was a little older my mom would take me there a few times a year.  To me it's laid back and I like it like that.  Just go out on the beach hang out, maybe walk on the beach at night.  Go do some good eating, maybe hit one of the local bars.  Whatever.

We go there every year too Lance.  In fact, we'll be there the first week in August this year.  But my best vacation to date has to be the week that my wife and I spent in Aruba in January '03.  This was pre-kids and we stayed all inclusive.  It was fantastic.  We can't wait to go back one day.

I guess I was in Vegas for Spring Break this year.  Just got back from a weekend there.

The college I went to didn't have spring break because we ended school at the end of April.  Though, every spring semester my entire fraternity went to Rosarito, Mexico for 4 days.   >:D >:D

My wife and I went to St. Lucia for our honeymoon.  Did the Sandals all inclusive thing.  It was AWESOME!

Damn, now I'm at a loss for words.  I wasn't in a fraternity in college, so I can't comment.   :-[

Paul, is Lambda Chi short for Lambda Chi Alpha?
