Possessed Headblade Cartridge & Personna M5 Magnum

Changed my Headblade cartridge - the Headblade branded triple type - on Sunday morning past. Have been using the HB and the triple blades since last Christmas with excellent results.
This cartridge seems to be possessed. It cut me twice on Sunday morning and left a lot of my scalp, particularly the back of my head, feeling raw. I thought maybe I was putting a bit too much pressure on the front of the HB after changing to a new set of blades.
So Monday morning I made sure I kept the pressure off the front of the HB. I ended up with even worse results including a big strip taken out of the back of my neck which, with the amount of aspirin I consume on a regular basis to keep my separated shoulder down to a dull ache, took over an hour to stop bleeding.
This HB cartridge has to be possessed and twice bitten, I am HB shy.
I went electric for a couple of days but quickly tired of the velcro feel they leave.
So I bought an M5 Magnum from Walmart yesterday. Came with three cartridges, a coupon for $3 off a pack of 4 cartridges, and the razor for less than $6. The price for a 4-pack of cartridges is also less than $6.
Tried it this morning for both my head and face and I'm pleased with the results. No fresh blood, no chafing, and a smooth, shiny head.
Personna is a 100% American company, has been manufacturing cutting and scraping tools for decades here in the good old USA.

My HB is starting to see less and less action.. I am HB shy as well.. i dont get cut as much as i used to.. I had some bad cuts with the HB.. The HB just doesn't do as well as my fusion.. I really hate that.. I really wanted to use it.. Its a great idea.. Just not practical for my head I guess.

The headblade whether it be the sport or the ghost, is my first choice. Though the persona m5 magnum is a great razor and for the price it is hard to beat.

As I noted in the Product Review board--it's the real deal. I never thought I would give up the Fusion--but if this works for a week, I'm really going to.

I'm giving it a week's trial also. Fingers are crossed so far. We will see in a week.

First day, there wasn't enough to shave this morning. Although it was a mid-day shave yesterday, Saturday, it's now about where it would be late in the evening of the first day. I'm impressed so far.

I love the M5 and have chucked my Sensor Excel for it.
I was in a Rite aid store yesterday and they also had the M5 (very slightly different packaging) but it was $2 more than at Wally World. The packages of razors were also $2 more.

So far this is the best, started on Saturday--great, again this morning. Why aren't they advertising in the media--I haven't seen squat about this--they just hang the stuff in the shave section w/o anything more. Strange.

Well I personally don't want them to advertize it because that will instantly raise the price about $2 or $3 bucks for each item.
SHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Let's keep it our little secret.........
