IMO this whole thread needs to be moved to a less "public place', sorry guys, it just shouldn't be the first thing guys w/ hair issues should see.
It's Just my opinion.

Out of pure curiosity, what would you recommend be a more appropriate forum for the thread than "Tattoos and Piercings?"

Yeah, not getting your point saint. Anyone who doesn't want to read about piercings should know not to visit this area.

yep, don't wanna talk about body modification, don't come into the "tattoos & Piercings" section. Granted this section isn't for everyone, but it IS pretty clearly labeled.
I myself am currently sporting 7/16" plugs in each earlobe and an 8g septum ring. I'm thinking of going up to 1/2" in each lobe.
I also have a few tattoos going, but that"s another thread....

My stretch from 8 to 6g and 6 to 4g were the worst. I remember a distinct popping sound.

and I thought it was just the fact that I started stretching after the age of 55. I just went from 6g to 4g. I was very, very careful. My ultimate goal is 0g, then I'll probably stop.

Well apparently just wearing fairly heavy jewelry has taken my lobes from 7/16" to a very comfy 1/2" all on it's own. Still debating whether to take the septum from 8 to 6.... but I'm feeling tempted lately.

For probably a good two weeks or so now I've been thinkin about getting my nipples pierced. Friend looked at me like I'm nuts and I jokingly said this must be my midlife crisis. She said no, probably the fact that you're almost divorced and starting over. That could be it too, I guess. I'm awfully tempted...

We'll see what I think in the next couple weeks. Couple of lady friends were getting industrials on Monday night and I almost went to the shop they were at.

I've got some 10 ga. captive ball rings that would be perfect for your first piercings. I wore 'em in my ear lobes about 10 stretches ago

Good jewelry is expensive. Let me know if you decide to
do the deed and you can have 'em.

As a matter of fact, did it this past Saturday. The guy who did it was a friend from high school. Jewelry and everything cost me $80 and I tipped him pretty fat since we're old friends. Hurts like a mother trucker, but I dig it. That's all that matters.
Thanks for the off though Red.
