I shave in the shower and it takes me about 5-7 minutes to get a good shave. I always save shaving my noggin for last.

I shave in the shower. I've never timed it, so I don't know how long it takes. In fact, I've never shaved out of the shower. I've never watched myself shave my head in a mirror.

Different strokes...
I love the shower shave.
Head neck and cheeks, I sport a beard, takes me less than 10 minutes
for the most careful and specific shave I can do.
In the shower I get the best pre-shave, hot water softening etc. Plus clean up is a breeze.
Still something of a newb myself, doing it for a couple of months now...

Mostly at the sink, after a shower. Once in a while, I'll braille it in the shower, scalp only, beard never--much too likely to mess up w/o a mirror.
Although I can strip it down fast in the shower, it never lasts like a carefully done sink and mirror shave--and I enjoy those strokes against the grain in back that rinse out w/ all the hair--neat. I also enjoy the appearance of the razor dried scalp next to the wet and lathered areas.

My water bill is already high enough. I shave at the sink just prior to my shower.

I'm a sink shaver. Gotta save as much water, here in So Cal, as we can. Plus I like to watch the progress much like SaintC.

I shaved before showering for many years. Then, mostly due to things I read here, I started shaving in the shower. I'll never go back! I have timed it many times the average is about 13 minutes. That's the shower, shaving my face in a fog free mirror and shaving my head by the braile method.

i ALWAYS shave at the sink right before a shower. for some reason its impossible for me to shave my head without looking. plus.....i only have so much time in the shower before my hot water runs out lol so i hurry up and wash.
ive also been shaving for a year now and still cant manage to shave the back of my head without another mirror. i think ill stick with that technique for the rest of my life. i see no harm in it.

btw the fastest ive ever shaven has been 20 minutes. i have no idea how some of you are getting a good shave in as little as 7 minutes.

My water bill is already high enough. I shave at the sink just prior to my shower.
I installed a small butterfly valve in my shower head. I can take the water flow down to just a trickle or up to full force with a 1/4 turn. Really save water and hot water. I take long showers but only use full water flow about 20% of the time.
Works great.

I only started shaving this week so it is a new routine in development which I am sure will get quicker.
I do shave in the shower both my face and head, no problem it is easy by feel alone.
I use a HeadBlade head and a Gillette 4 blade for face and head touch up areas.
I usually use a scrub on my head first with plenty hot water, then use a shampoo to soften the hair even more.
I then wash my body while the head still gets the hot water treatment.
Then I lather my head and face at the same time with shaving foam. Rubbing well in.
I then shave my face by feel alone, new to this as well as I have been an electric shaver for 10 years plus.
Once the face is done I start on the head with the HB against the grain front to back first then back to front.
Then I touch up hear and there with the Gillette.
Once complete I rinse with hot water and then switch to cold water for at least a minute.
That really tightens up the scalp and closes the pores of the head.
Once complete I get out and dry all of me except my head, let dry as natural as possible.
Then I use some tea tree gel on the head and once dry I moisturise the head and face.
I'm still a bit slow at the moment, but all the above takes me less than 15 mins.
Looking forward to doing this EVERY day from now on.
Have to say that the HB has made for a closer shave than I have had with normal shavers.
Still got the shadow, but will fade once I get a bit of a tan on the top.
