The "other woman" and the Governor.

First let me say this is NOT a political discussion per se'.
Most of you have heard about what has happened with the governor of my state, Mark Sanford (South Carolina) admitting to having an affair with a woman in Argentina. All day today I have heard how bad he is for doing what he did and though he and I are pretty much of the same political persuasion ( though I have recently switched parties) I do agree what he did to his wife was pretty damn low. But what amazes me is how so many people feel the "other woman" was victimized by him. I feel what happened was 50-50. He was wrong for cheating and she was wrong for spreadin her legs.
So I am just curious as to if any of you feel she was victimized. Just wanted viewpoints from people not in our state.

It takes two to tango.
I would be lying if I said that I haven't seen women know that a guy is married and yet they still make a very aggressive move for them.

A single woman who knowingly has an affair with a married man is nothing less than a slut, in my books. It says a lot about someone who voluntarily participates in ruining a marriage, and if kids are involved, an entire family. She is no better than the man, maybe worse. Sorry if this sounds too strong, just my opinion.

I should mention that what he did to his family is terrible!

Politicians are human. That being said, by nature of their career choice, they should be held to higher standards.

I wonder why he had to go all the way to Argentina to get laid. Strange.

Its those Latin women, im telling you!
I think its funny that his wife wasnt at the press conference when he admitted everything. Unlike just about every other politician-caught-up-in-a-sex-scandal's wife.

Hadn't she kicked him out of the house before he went to Argentina? I think she already knew about the affair and from what I understand he went to Argentina for one last thing before he broke it off. He's a piece of crap for sure but I think it's a little blown out of proportion right now.

But he didn't pay for it as far as we know, so to the extent of uncompensated labor--she was a victim.

I think his wife is going to take him to the cleaners. Even his Republican contituents are calling for him to resign. Then again it's not like he was a very effective governor anyway. South Carolina has not had one since the 80's with the late Governor Carrol Campbell.

I think the biggest problem he faces as far as keeping his job is trying to justify going AWOL for five days without telling anybody or leaving anyone in charge in the event of an emergency.
