Rough reaction from wife

Hi, Guys this is my first post since becoming sly and I am new to the site. I shaved completely about 1 week ago. Of course the people at work were somewhat shocked the first day as it is a big change, but everyone has adjusted pretty well. The only issue so far has been my wife she says my eyes are too low and my head comes to a point. My head is pretty round so I am not sure what she means by this, I do have a high forehead so maybe that’s why she thinks my eyes look low. I am just wondering if others have had an adjustment period from their wives, I think it may just take a while for her to adjust to seeing so much skin above my eyebrows. I had a good sense of confidence when I shaved my MPB, and she seems to be kicking me down. Sorry no pic yet of my slyness.

This seems to happen a lot. It always amazes me that the ones who are supposed to love you the most are the ones that seem to enjoy kicking you down the most too
I'm sure she'll grow to like it when she sees how much more confident and happy you are with your new look. Welcome to the forums

Stick to your guns bro. Dont let family and friends shoot you down like that. It happens to all of us, but as soon as they see you arent going to change they grow to love you again. Blood is thicker than water...so hang in there and it will all come to rest. Like I have said before, if one dislikes it that much and falls away from you, they were never there to begin with.

Well, if you have typical MPB, you probably already have a lot of skin above your eyebrows!
Seriously, my wife hates it on me, but knows I like it and get relief from a bad scalp condition. It took a while, but she finally realized that the sly look is here to stay. Be strong, stick to your sly look, and it'll be all good.

Thanks guys for the encouraging words, I plan on continuing to shave whether she likes it or not, so far I love it and only been doing it a week, it's so much easier, when I wake up, go to the gym or riding with the window down, something I can finally do, well once the weather gets better. ltr

Like Schro, my wife hates it on me too. But she never says anything about it anymore. I think she realizes that I'm happy with it, and it's only hair. There are bigger things to get worked up over. If I could give you one piece of advice it would be to keep shaving for at least 30 days. When I first crossed over to the sly side, my wife was so upset that I grew my MPB hair back, only to hate it so much that I'd shave again. Then the whole process would start all over. I've been sly for months now and the hurtful comments have stopped. I've received a lot of compliments from others on my slyness and I know some of my friends would love to try it, but they don't have the stones. Congrats on your decision, bro!

Another spouse against The Look here. And like the other brothers, she's stopped ranting on about it, except on those occassions where she's had one too many martini's and even that's slacking off, the comments--not the martinis
.
Seriously, wait until your out and HER friends start to compliment you
. SWEET--and it happens all the time. That's payback Bro, that's payback.

When she threatens to shave her head, too, offer her the use of your clippers. Women threaten this one all the time.
Don't be the one to bring the topic up, though. I can envision the conversation:
"Honey, would you like to use my clippers so you can shave your head like mine?"
"Why, so I can look like a dumbass cueball, too?"
