My suggestion (and I am DUMB) is simply do not introduce her to anyone, act as though you forgot! If she wants to step up and tell folks who she is, you can just say, "Oh Yeah, OOPS"! After about three or four times she will introduce herself right away, or you will be single again, WooHoo!
