I shave my head by choice. I've been doing it everyday for a year and a half. This month, I decided to give my scalp a break and skipped shaving for the last two weeks.
As my hair was growing in, I noticed that I'm developing a bald spot on top of my head -- the start of typical male pattern baldness. The hair is thinner in the back and has a downy kind of feel.
It's kinda funny that over the last year as I was shaving my head I thought it would be kinda cool if I were just naturally bald. Ironically, my day has arrived.
...and trust me...I'm not shedding a tear. This weekend, I'll treat myself to barbershop head shave.
Hey bro, at least you were already cool with the bald look.
That is ironic! But like Lance said, at least your already cool with a shaved head.
Well being BBC for 1.5 years Razorhead you already know the feeling a smooth dome gives you bud you I guess God has granted you your wish.
My experience reminds me of a Seinfeld episode with the bald swimmer guy that Elaine was dating.
I think people expect me to be the bald guy. As I was growing it, people did double takes and said,
"what's with the hair?"
"are you becoming a hippie?"
"you should go back and shave it"
comment came from people who haven't known me with hair.
Most interesting comment was from someone who thought that my grey hair was nice and I should grow it. She continued to add that head shaving was only for guys losing their hair. Little does she know. The bald spot is kinda faint and not really noticeable because my hair is still short.
Tomorrow, I'm gonna shave it and report back as a fellow sly guy.
Thats the day I cant wait for. When my hair doesnt start to grow back in....although I will miss the daily ritual of getting that nice slick dome first thing in the morning. You can tell im gettin older when i look more forward to a slick dome then what guys usually wake up with..
