hey ,, ive been a member on and off for the past year, mainly due to me going through on off stages of head shaving. Although over the past 6 months i have stuck to a realy short buzz cut, and now im using the clipper with the guard off.
This is the shortest i have ever done..., basically i just want to now if there is much difference between the 0 look and the 'bald' look. as i am goin to university in a few months and want to go with the bald look so people are use to me with this look.
Also i would like to ask ,, what age did you guys start losing your hair if you ever did. i am 18 and started losing it when i was 15!! ,, it was not noticlable till now tho. I kind of feel like a freak of nature ,, haha sounds stupid iknow, but maybe ive set a world record

Hey Duffy, welcome back! I'd give shaving it all the way a shot. There is a difference, but it's a positive difference.

There's an old country expression in the South that can be readily adapted to a much better use,
If you've ever been bald on Saturday night, you'll never want hair again. Does that answer the question?

If you are already using clippers at 0 with now guard you have only two to three days more hair than if you shaved it slick. Go for it.

I agree with Paul. Dude, you're practically there, just do it and give it 30 days. By the way, today is my 30 day trial run and I have no intentions of letting it grow out anytime soon.

I agree with the others -- and just before you go to university is the perfect time to do it. It will be a much easier transition for you to meet new friends with your new look, than to make the change later and have to get people used to the change.

Took a while for me to be convinced too, but sly is way better than clippers with no guard. It just feels so good. Go for it.

SlickA is right...a slick bald head is WAY better than a buzzed bald head!
Go for the smooth shave bro!

Here's another vote for shaving it. If your cutting it with no guard you're just too close to not give it a chance. When you do shave it just try to keep it shaved for 30 days. Then you'll really know how you feel about it. Just go for it bro!!

Give it a try. What have you got to lose? Not much if you are already buzzing without a guard.
There is a difference in the look, but the real difference is in the feel.
No way for you to know what it is like until you actually go smooth and experience for yourself.

IMO, there is not much difference in the look, but a big difference in the feel and the added confidence. Since it looks like you have light hair, I doubt that it will look much different. Mine is black, so a little stubble makes a big difference in my look. Like the guys said, shave it and give it 30 days.
