Great post and article, Tyler. It was at my annual physical this past year that I mentioned to my doctor about some chest discomfort I was having when I mowed the lawn. This resulted in a referral to a cardiologist and a couple weeks later I found out that one of my main arteries had a 98% blockage. I highly recommend the annual phyical exams.
Good post. When did 30 become the age that they recommend annual physicals begin? I always thought it was around 40 that you were supposed to start going regularly to get all sorts of nasty things done
I don't think I've had a complete physical since I went to college. I have been thinking about it lately as I get closer and closer to that magic number. The last time I went to the doctor was two years ago when I had a sinus infection.
Great video Tyler..... It hits pretty close to home for me... A good friend of mine recently found out he has testicular cancer..... 39 years old with a wife and four kids. A great guy.
He had to have one testicle removed and he starts his second round of chemo Monday.
I spoke to him today and said his hair is falling out (he has a thick full head of hair). He laughed when I told him I'd get him a HeadBlade and show him how to use it. He laughed his ass off.
As men we're always scratching our own balls anyway, so next time guys give them a good check.
On a lighter note this reminds me of a joke... Why do women rub their eyes in the morning?................ because they don't have balls to scratch!
Razor, for the last couple of years I've been told by my friends that just passed the 30 mark that it was time for them to get their annual physical. With that, I took it as 30 was the age to start doing this. I think the earlier the better.
I think the earlier the better.
Yes, you're probably right. Just not something I'm looking forward to having to do.
Tyler, thanks for the insightful post. Think it is about time to have a physical myself.
And that video, Damn.
Actually my friend told me that the doctors said that it's a young man's disease. Early twenties to mid thirties is those who it afflicts the most. Get them boys checked starting young........
