Matte For Men (M4M). Probably the least used post-shave product on SBG. Could my review change that?
Scent: None. I like this because I'm able to use this in conjunction with a cologne. Artificial scents can also lend themselves to skin irritation.
Burn: Negative.
Moisturizing: This products seems to 'hydrate' the skin more than moisturize. I think this is critical because a head can get greasy if it's covered with a 'moisturizer'. M4M works to balance your heads natural moisture. It's hard to envision this until you see the difference it makes on your head. The active ingredients for hydration in M4M are Aloe and Oat Colloids. My dome feels amazing.
Absorption: Superb. This is a fast-absorbing cream. I was cautious about this product at first, having bad experiences with cream-based post-shave balms. My worries however, were soon put to rest. Simply amazing.
Cooling: I don't believe there is any added menthol or 'cooling agents'. I think this is an overall good thing as some people are allergic to menthol. Since this balm doesn't burn or sting the skin, I will rate it as 'Good'.
Soothing: Very soothing. This will caress your head after a rough shave. It's like VIP treatment.
Healing: Unbeatable. M4M is like nectar for your head. I'd also like to mention there is SPF 25 included. So this product not only heals, but protects!
Price: Here's what has kept most people on this forum from trying this product. At $22, it does scare off some weary customers. However, the quality of this balm is unsurpassed. I think of it as a luxury expense.
Think of getting a limo ride to work everyday, compared to sitting in a Ford Pinto while crawling through rush-hour traffic with a broken A.C. When the limo drops you off, you feel cool and confident. When you arrive in your Pinto, you're annoyed and sweaty. You might of payed more to ride in a limo, but it certainly makes your day. (get my analogy?)
Would I buy again?: Yes. I've tried numerous post-shave products and I really can't stop raving about my experience with Matte For Men Complete Head Care Lotion.

I love these carefully written and informative reviews. Keep up the great work. It's appreciated bro.

As you know, you said it

the price keeps people away from such great products (myself included). I will see what their shipping rate is and then decide if it's worth spending $22 when I could get bald guyz moisture gel for 1/3 of the price.

It's totally worth the price! I use Bald Guyz Moisture Gel on a regular basis too. However, you won't be dissapointed with Matte For Men. I was skeptical before I bought it. You'll be sold the first time you try it.

Alright lol I will try it. Just one question, how much of it do you need to use? One container of Bald Guyz moisture gel can last 6 months. How about this one from Matte for Men? Any estimates?

At least the same amount of time. I use slightly less M4M than I do Bald Guyz per shave, so it will last a while.

UPDATE:
After using this product for some time now, I can
distinctively tell a complete shine elimination on my head. I've used products before that
at best haven't added shine to my head, but M4M certainly lives up to their claims and pictures on their web site. I'm also loving the SPF 25 included in the formula. I can't stop raving about this product!

Great review. Makes me want to buy some right now.
Just checked the website. The price is up to $24. Did anyone go through the process to check shipping rates? I found out that the Sephora stores sell it for $30. Has anyone found it anywhere else?

I went to Sephora today. They did not have it in the store. Guess I'm stuck ordering online. Who's the Matte For Men rep on SBG? Let's tell him to get this stuff in some stores.

Ive been buying off their site since they started. its 24 bucks plus $6.75 for shipping but orders over $50 pay NO shipping. I actually called Sephora when they first got it in but its only in about 30 stores and online.
