How does Bald Guyz post-shave product stand up to the competing companies catering to Sly Bald Guys?
Scent: Very subtle. Citrusy and sweet. It compliments the Bald Guyz Shave Gel. I love it. It's also light enough where it won't interfere with colognes
Burn: There is a hint and sometimes a sting of burn after a 'not so good' shave. However, the burn is short-lived.
Moisturizing: Bald Guyz takes a slightly different approach in terms of moisturizing by combining aloe vera with Green Tea and Grape-seed Extract. My skin works well with this combination, compared to a cream-based post-shave balm.
Absorption: Above-Average. This post-shave has a slightly runny consistency that will not absorb well if over-applicated. However, when used properly, it's money.
Cooling:Average. BG Moisture Gel doesn't give you a 'cooling effect', but more of a 'refreshing' feel.
Soothing: Very soothing. It's heaven after a shave.
Healing: Decent. I'm not sure how much 'accident forgiveness' this post-shave will provide, compared to any other cream or gel you would use after a shave.
Price: For about $6, you get enough for a long time! Initially I was worried about the smaller tube this came in, but soon realized how little gel you actually need during each use.
Would I buy again?: Yes. This is definatly one of my favorite post-shave products. The skin on your head is so much different than the skin on your body and even your face. I think Bald Guyz really paid attention to that detail when creating this great product.
