An ode to the HeadBlade

I wasn't really sold on the HeadBlade until tonight. Two nights ago, on only my third occasion using the HeadBlade, I was able to shave in the shower, by feel alone, and get a great shave. I was impressed a bit, but not completely sold on the idea of using it exclusively.
Tonight I figured that if I could shave with a headblade on touch alone, surely I could do so with a much more familiar Mach3 razor.
I was able to go on feel... because I could FEEL where it shredded my damn scalp! I was going WITH the grain, and still wasn't getting a clean and consistent shave. I threw the Mach3 down after 2 minutes and grabbed the HeadBlade and went back over things and got a slick shave.
Never again. Never. Again.
I swear, the Mach3 did more damage this time around, with the grain and fresh blades, than the HeadBlade did on my first try EVER.
I've learned my lesson.

As a relative newbie to being sly, I did a lot of reviewing before deciding on what razor to use. I settled on HeadBlade products from Day 1 and have nicked my dome only rarely. To me, it's like using a comb and styling your "hair" in a comb-back. There are more chances for cutting your dome with a regular razor.
But what do I know, I'm just a dumb bald guy.
Cheers,
Schro

I love the headbalde wouldn't shave with anything else.... as you are all aware I just bought my frist house, well I'm going to need to make the shower a little bigger and when I do I want to have a mirror build into the tile is that a good Idea?

As long as you still have enough room for the beer taps, you should be fine.

I've been shaving with my headblade, in the shower, by feel only (haven't gotten around to getting a fog free mirror yet) since July and it is the ONLY razor I'll ever use on my head again.
Welcome to the club.

Me too, I looked at doing it, when I remodeled our bathroom, but wasn't doing the shower, and getting the wires through would have been a pita. One day maybe.

Dude, I was relatively new to the whole idea of headshaving, but I new about the headblade and ordered it online. But for that first week, I had to use the Mach3... Nothing against it, it does a great job on my beard and face, but to tell you the truth, the shave was NEVER consistant, it was never THAT smooth [so smooth that you can't wait for the first pair of female fingers to slide across it], and it would on occasion nick the back of my head. Now, with the HeadBlade, the shave is consistant, all around SMOOTH, and best of all, no nicks and no cuts... and all in about half the time. I would not use anything other than my HeadBlade Sport on that shizzle!
