Just wanted to let you know that today, I traded in the flattop for the SLY! 8)  My first headshave at a barbershop, straight razored with the grain.  It feels like sandpaper now so I guess I'll have to do it right tomorrow, against the grain.  Not my best look, at least I don't think but it's growing on me.

It's about FREAKIN' time   lol.   I know the feeling Dave, went from my high and tight horseshoe to sly.  But that was over two years ago.   It's a great look for ya.

Thanks to everyone for the great comments.  Like I said Papa Don, it's growing on me.  I just got done shaving it against the grain, it's nice and smooth now.  Also tried the ice cube method for shine, we'll see if it works.  I am really diggin' this!v  8)

Congratulations.  It's normal to have some reservations about it at first, but it really looks good.  You'll feel better about it 30 days from now.
