Today at Trader Joe's, I was waiting in a long line when a 20-something checker dude plucked me out of the line and brought to his register to check me out. And he was clearly checking out my dome.
The first thing he says to me as we're walking over to his register is.... "I used to have the same haircut. I did a lot of sports in high school, and I used to shave my head all the time."
He currently has a gelled, spikey 'do, but you can clearly see that he's thinning up top.
He then says, "I think I'm going to end up with the same hairstyle as you again. I'm starting to go bald on top and I think I'd rather shave it all off again."
Then he says, with a big smile, "I'm not upsetting you by talking about you being bald, am I??"
I said, "No way, man. I love being bald!"
His smile grew bigger, and he said, "Good! The only reason I asked is that another customer told me that if I didn't stop talking to her husband about being bald, he'd punch me out".
LOL.
He totally made my day (week, month...lol).
Hope he shaves it off soon. He'd look great Sly.
