My daughter had her cast taken off and the pins removed from elbow earlier today. All looked good on the latest x-rays.
We won't know about any future growth problems for months and maybe a couple of years.

Thats awesome Mike. Glad she is recovering well.
I dont mean to hijack your thread but keep my oldest daughter in your prayers guys. 3 weeks ago during gym class she was taking a step to retrieve a tennis ball when another one rolled under her foot and she fell. Her left ankle turned outward. She is in a boot for now because of 2 torn tendons. The swelling and pain has subsided, so she did what dr said and tried to walk on it with out boot from time to time. No go, there is no strength in the foot. It just gives out. So that means surgery within the next 8 weeks.

Man, that sucks. I did something similar a couple years ago. Except I was walking to get the mail, forgot there was a curb.. I remember my foot going completely sideways. I couldn't walk for a long time and to this day I still have problems walking on it if I get up after crouching or kneeling. But then again, I'm sure she'll heal a lot quicker that a 30 something year old.

Limited activity for the next month. So no trampoline or rough play for that time period.
